MỤC STUDENTS
PART 1 (1 minute)
Instructions: Greet students, be friendly and make them feel at ease for the speaking test.

| – “Good morning/afternoon. Please sit down. My name is _____. Please tell me your full name.”
– “Can I see your student ID card?” (Check the name, number and photo). – “Please sign here.” Ask the student to sign the speaking scoring sheet). – “Thank you. Now I’d like to ask you some questions about yourself.” |
– “Good morning/afternoon. My name is _____.”
– Show their student ID cards and sign their names on the scoring sheet.
– Feel at ease to answer the examiner’s questions. |
PART 2 – 1 (1 minute)
Instructions:
Students have ONE minute to talk about the topic they have prepared.

| “Now in this part, you will have one minute to talk about the topic you have prepared.” | Students spend one minute talking about the topic. |
| Topic: Talk about something you own which is important to you.
You should say: · what it is and how long you have had it · who you got it from · why it is important to you |
Students are expected to use a variety of complete sentence structures, appropriate grammar and vocabulary to talk about the topic. |
| (After 1 minute) “Thank you. Can I have the topic card and paper back please?” | Students return the topic card and paper to the examiner. |
PART 3 (2 minutes)
Instructions:
Teachers are required to ask follow-up questions which are connected to the students’ talk. Below are suggested questions only.

– speak in full sentences – expand on the answers using appropriate vocabulary, phrases and structures – use the learning outcomes and language features in the level |
